Job Description

Profiles is hiring a remote Social Media Selling Specialist on a 6-month contract to FTE opportunity for a global retail and outdoor recreation services corporation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage campaigns directly within Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, SNAP, and other social platforms.
  • Responsible for coordinating the preparation, execution, and reporting of vendor partner product campaigns with the program managers on paid social platforms.
  • Requirements are to prepare, launch, optimize, and report on about 10 unique vendor campaigns per month.
  • Drive sales demand by leveraging new avenues of selling gear and apparel through social media.
  • Contribute to ongoing report recaps, which inform growth and optimization.
  • Responsible for publishing and managing social commerce calendar for upcoming product-driven campaigns.
  • Support the Social Selling Senior Program Manager in varying ways as the social landscape changes.
  • Maintenance of tagging and other technical details within social platforms.
  • Understands what tactics work to sell products at scale on social platforms.
  • Highly collaborative and eager to contribute to a strong, mutually supportive culture.
  • Demonstrate understanding of social media user behavior, insight analysis, and objective reporting to inform planning.
  • Comfortable organizing large data sets to uncover the “why” in what we see in the data.
  • Support day-to-day paid social publishing and optimization across all social media channels.
  • Drive innovation that taps into new trends and inspiration through gear and apparel.
  • Manage tactical planning with guidance within the parameters of the assignment.
  • Champion new ideas that position our social channels as a valuable and growing path to purchase.

Skill & Experience

  • Must have deep hands-on keyboard experience with social selling platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, SNAP), optimizes campaigns with efficiency and detail, able to report and analyze data during and post-campaign, ability to learn and adjust in real-time from past campaigns.
  • Ability to develop creative strategy and implement testing, understand analysis, and crucial reporting needs and insights.
  • Able to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Comfortable speaking on behalf of social commerce support outcomes with internal partners.
  • Creative thinker and self-starter who can adapt to fast-changing circumstances.
  • Balance quick-turn projects with upstream planning and project deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-divisional partners to find efficiency in delivering a best-in-class customer path to purchase.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, speak up when there are concerns or issues, and communicate the details of their program and data effectively with the manager, internal stakeholders, and the vendor.
  • Willingness and skill to learn and adjust approach when necessary.
