About The Role

In the role of Sales & Business Development Representative, you will play a critical part in expanding the customer base and contributing to the revenue objectives of the hiring company. Responsibilities include managing both inbound and outbound lead flows, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strategic relationships with prospective clients. Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, you will utilize your expertise in geospatial and data analytics to effectively convey the value proposition to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities

– Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as implement targeted outbound prospecting programs.

– Conduct high-level discovery conversations with key stakeholders in target accounts.

– Achieve or surpass BDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets.

– Collaborate with teammates to create targeted lists, define call strategies, and craft messaging that drives opportunities.

– Employ industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create compelling events, and develop business accounts.

– Engage with leads in your assigned territory through a variety of touchpoints (call, email, social, etc.) using Outreach.io.

– Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Hubspot.

– Document processes in the company handbook and update as necessary with your Manager.

– Act as a mentor to new hires, guiding them through their key accounts.

– Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to create targeted marketing initiatives for your assigned accounts.

– Partner actively with the Sales Team to prospect strategically in their respective territories.

Skill & Experience

– Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening abilities, and strong writing skills.

– Capable of meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.

– A self-starter with a proven track record of credible achievements.

– Alignment with the company’s core values and adherence to them in daily work.

– Understanding of business processes, roles, and organizational structures.

– A determined personality with a desire to grow and achieve success.

– Passionate about contributing to the company’s journey.

– Proficient with Hubspot and other inbound/outbound lead management platforms.

– Previous experience in the tech industry or in sales development, marketing, and/or sales is an advantage.

– Excellent written and spoken English, as it is the primary language of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000 base salary plus commission.
